Explore Historic Happening Fell's Point!
Plan to spend some time exploring this popular eclectic Baltimore waterfront neighborhood. Fell's Point was founded in 1730 by shipbuilder William Fell. This historic maritime community still maintains its old world charm with 18th, 19th and 20th century homes, taverns, and a wide variety of shops. The oldest of these homes is the Robert Long House, circa 1765, on Ann Street near the Fell's Point Visitor Center on Thames Street. In 1797 the Fell's Point Ship Yard built the USS Constellation which now resides at Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Enjoy historic walking tours, such as the harbor house tour, Fell's Point African American history tour, immigration history tour, 1812 tours, and authentic ghostwalks along old world Belgian block streets. You can also enjoy fun-filled events like the Fell's Point Fun Festival and Privateer Day, antique and specialty shops, and the best in dining from exceptional historic taverns to the finest in fine dining.
